Tomorrow is my birthday!

In three hours I'll be 19!
The luckiest part of tomorrow: I have a geology lab final at 8AM!
YAY! I'm trying to convince myself that It's a good thing because I want to spend as many hours awake as possible.
truth is, I might not make it to 19 and 1 day. I will not take the day for granite ;)

Chocolate.

Chocolate is candy. But it is unlike any other candy and certainly better than any candy.

Chocolate makes you feel wonderful.
When you eat it, it seems as all your problems have gone away.
Its like a dream to your mouth, a dream to your heart.
When your dream is over, it's okay, because you can just eat some more.

So what is the answer to chocolate?

Eat it. Always.

It is as you  are playing Mario on the N64 and you have to collect all of the coins. Except, the coins are chocolate.

I am a good guesser.

Last Wednesday I took a math test. I was going to write about how dreadful the test was but I didn't want to disappoint anyone. I pretty much guessed on every problem. They were good guesses and educated, but really there wasn't any math behind my guesses. It was one of those tests that you don't even bother crying after, you just laugh. That's what I did with another guy who's in my class.
Today I went to class to get my test back but we actually didn't have them back. But after class, I asked my professor if I could look at my test. She pulled it out and we went over it together even though it wasn't graded. Guess what! I got all my answers right! It was a little awkward though when she would look at every problem and say "Right! Where's your calculus?" Afterwards she told me "You are going to get a very good score on this, but only because you're a good guesser." Even if I can't do calculus, I will be proud of getting through it (twice) because of my guessing skills!

I don't want to do homework so I'm telling you about my day.

The best part about today: I stayed up too late and then I had to drink lots of coffee this morning. That was okay, because I love eggnog.

The other best part of my day: Today I went to church. I love my church. It's small and everyone is so nice. Today was my first day doing Children's Church. There were 9 kids and they were all so cute. We did prayer requests for the kids. My favorite was the little boy that requested we pray for the tigers and the fish.

I came back and studied. Sometimes I didn't study. Tomorrow I have a geology exam. I haven't complained about it yet and I'm not going to. I really want to do well. I'm kind of starting to like geology. But don't quote me on that, because Exams are in 2 weeks, and my story will probably be different.

The other other best part about my day: I decided that I was going to study in my beanbag chair. Next thing I knew, I woke up and it was dark. So depressing. But it was an incredible nap and I can't remember the last time I took a nap.

Not the best part of my day: Now I'm studying. But I'm not studying, because I'm blogging.

The other other other best part about my day:
I found out i have a 91% in math. I don't even know how that's possible.

I feel spiders crawling on me.

Last night I was walking into the bathroom as the girl that lives in the dorm next to me was running out. I went to the bathroom and when I walked out of the stall the girl was back with her roommate who had a tennis shoe in each hand. I heard one of them say "Where is it?" and the other said "it's gone." and they were looking into the stall next to me.
There was also a sighting of the spider last week on the window sill where I always put my clothes and towel while I'm showering, last week.
I forgot to mention. IT'S THE SIZE OF MY PALM! (Seth & his roommate don't believe me when I tell them this, BUT IT IS!)
Every time I shower/go to the bathroom/walk into the bathroom, I feel 8 little eyes looking at me. I also constantly feel them crawling on me. Getting to sleep last night was impossible. I couldn't stop brushing my feet over my legs.
Also, last week I was on the opposite side of campus from my dorm with some friends. We were watching a movie and a fatty, big, meaty spider crawled across the ceiling.

I had one of my friends look up some facts about spiders. I tried to do it myself, but I gagged and rolled into a ball and Seth got mad at me for taking the blanket off of him. Also, when I look up "hobo spiders" on google images, I have this reoccurring dream of thousands of spiders crawling over my windshield, trying to get me.
Here are some problematic facts:
Hobo Spiders and Wolf Spiders are .5-2 inches full grown. Here's the issue. The spider in the bathroom has to be bigger than 2 inches.
Second: if I see a Giant House Spiders, I will probably fall over and die in fear.
Also. My friend, Kellen, who looked up the stuff for me said that Washington only has 3 poisonous spiders. Hobos, Black Widows, and Brown Recluses. I always thought that there weren't any Black Widows or Brown Recluses around here.

I'm dying, I need to move to the frozen tundra where Life can't live.

A post of me whining about why today sucks.

Today is a no good, terrible day. It keeps getting worse. "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter is ringing through my head and brings back so many middle school memories. (That doesn't help my day either)

1. Last night, I stayed up til 1AM studying for a math exam that I have today. I'm still going to fail.
2. I'm tired because I stayed up so late.
3. I got a stupid parking ticket.
4. It's raining and I stepped in a giant puddle and my feet have been soaked for hours.
5. My phone went off in the middle of Greek and it was so loud and so embarrassing.

I need a job.

I'm poor and college is expensive, so I've been looking for a job. On craigslist, I found a job for a housekeeper. That's easy. I can do that. The job is for a nudist household. Luckily, the poster clairfied that you do not have to be a in the nude to do the job. No thanks.

Happy November!

It's November and I am so excited because November is my favorite month!

1. Can you say Eggnog? This morning I went to Starbucks to get an eggnog latte. This is a big deal. I woke up extra early so I had time before my 8am lab that I hate. I got there and the store was decked out in "eggnog is here!" and "the wait is over, eggnog is in." When I ordered, the cashier said "sorry, eggnog isn't in yet. We get it later today." Such a let down! I guess I can wait until tomorrow.

2. SNOW! Snow used to be obnoxious because of getting trapped. But now, I have nowhere to go and I am so excited for the first snowfall!

3. If just looking at that turkey doesn't make you excited, you're nuts. I love Thanksgiving! It's one of the only days in the whole year that I can eat as much as I want and not feel bad about it. Thanksgiving reminds me of Black Friday. My friend Meghan and I have embraced Black Friday the past couple years. Except this year, I am a poor college student with no job and I think it might have to be a no go this year.

4. FOUR days off from college! FOUR!!! Thank you veterans, thank you pilgrims!

5 and MOST importantly!
My birthday is in 29 days!

This has successfully distracted me from what I should really be doing. I have an exam today, tomorrow, Thursday, and next Monday. YAY!
